School garden blooms after redevelopment

by Brighton Council

A revitalised 24 Carrot Garden at Jordan River Learning Federation Herdsmans Cove Primary School is flourishing, following a major redevelopment. Aimed at creating a more engaging and inspiring outdoor learning space for students, the redesigned garden was developed through a collaborative process involving students, school staff and community partners. Their feedback has shaped a space designed to encourage play, learning and connection with nature. The renewed garden is a space where children can play, learn and connect outdoors in a creative and welcoming environment.

A new substation mural in Bridgewater by neurodivergent artist Natalia Bennett. The work was jointly commissioned by TasNetworks and Brighton Council and co-designed with local residents and neighbours.
