The Roaring Forties Aero Modellers will host a major Precision Aerobatics Event in March 2026 at their Pontville Field. This flying competition is specifically for F3A 2-metre radio-controlled model aircraft. The Precision Aerobatics Event will actually be three events in one. The Tasmanian State Championship will serve as the selection trial for the Trans Tasman competition, where an Australian team of five or six pilots goes head-to-head with a team from New Zealand.

This part of the event has been given World Cup status and will therefore attract some other international competitors keen to accumulate World Cup points!
