Giving your dog’s no. 2 a green thumbs-up

by Brighton Council

Did you know that dog poo, pet hair and organic/ natural kitty litter can be placed in your FOGO bin? Yes it can! This helps reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and creates valuable compost for our gardens and parks. Please remember DO NOT put dog poo in the recycling or general waste bins, as this can contaminate the materials and cause health and environmental issues. For more information on what can and cannot go in the FOGO bin, please visit www.brighton.tas.gov.au/property/fogo.
