Cris Fitzpatrick Park Stage 1 Upgrades to Open

by Brighton Council

The first stage of planned upgrades to Cris Fitzpatrick Park in Gagebrook are almost complete and will be ready for everyone to enjoy this February.

The new developments at the park in Tottenham Road include:

  • Installation of a flying fox
  • Repositioning of a nest swing to the new play area
  • Quad swing set
  • Balance plank
  • Balance log
  • Log hop

The upgrade includes a new picnic table and shelter, and the perimeter of the play area has been fenced for additional safety, incorporating new garden beds and plantings.

The Cris Fitzpatrick Master Plan is based on feedback from over 160 residents back in 2020/21 and this is the completion of the first stage of the re-development. It has been made possible with the support of State and Federal Government funding.
