Walks connect local mums

The Mum Connection out and about

The Mum Connection is a Tasmanian not-for-profit community helping mums build meaningful friendships, feel supported and stay connected through every stage of motherhood. With more than 2,600 members statewide, the group creates opportunities for connection through local walking groups, a range of events, mums’ nights out and a supportive online community.

Every Friday at 10am, local mums meet at 5.0 Espresso in Old Beach for a walk. Whether solo or with little ones in tow, it’s a chance to enjoy fresh air, gentle movement and genuine conversation in a welcoming, judgement free environment.

These walks help mums connect with others who understand the joys and challenges of parenting while building friendships and a strong local support network. Babies and children also have the opportunity to socialise, make friends and grow up alongside familiar faces, creating a sense of belonging within their community from an early age.

To become part of this community, join The Mum Connection Tasmania group on Facebook.
