A local resident, Sammi grew up in Herdsmans Cove attending the primary school and later Jordan River Learning Federation Senior School, then Bridgewater High School.  She initially began her involvement with the Bridgewater PCYC almost 10 years ago as a teenager.

Since starting with the PCYC Sammi has been largely responsible for running the outside of school hours’ care service and a number of other programs.  Her commitment and efforts have been central to the organisation’s ability to increase services, particularly over the past two years since she took on the assistant manager role.  The level of support Sammi has demonstrated for her community was also recognised late last year when she represented the Bridgewater PCYC at the Telstra National Business Awards in Melbourne.

Well known and loved within her community, Sammi is a credit to the organisation and an excellent role model who really enjoys her job and interacting with the community.
