BRIGHTON Council has engaged consultants to prepare a master plan for Gagebrook’s Cris Fitzpatrick Park in Tottenham Road.
Council’s general manager James Dryburgh said the master plan would help make the park more accessible, safe, desirable and activated for community use.
During late August school, children and parents from Gagebrook Primary School had their say about the park at the Spring launch of Bond Place community garden.
A survey is being distributed to all households in Gagebrook and residents are urged to contribute their ideas about existing facilities and improvements for the park. Surveys can be dropped at the Laona Store on Tottenham Road or into Brighton Council’s offices in Tivoli Road Old Beach.
The survey is only at www.brighton.tas.gov.au and My Community/ Have Your Say.
“The master plan will be prepared over coming months to assist Council in seeking funding support for the park,” Mr Dryburgh said.
