ANZAC Day formalities and fun in Brighton

BRIGHTON municipality residents are reminded ANZAC Day will be celebrated on April 25 with a formal commemorative service followed by a family sports day.

The official ANZAC service will be held at 11am at Remembrance Park at the former Army Camp Parade ground. The march will begin at 10.30am at Pontville Memorial Park on the corner of Brighton and Ford Roads.

There will be a range of activities and foot races for the whole family to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to bring along a picnic or enjoy the free barbecue.
