Youngsters enjoy a day on the farm

GAGEBROOK Primary School Grades 5 and 6 recently visited Hagley farm and some of the students put pen to paper to relay their experiences.
Jessica May Knight thought that all of the activities were “heaps of fun”.  Another student Brad Stieger said there were “creepy crawlies in the pond” which everyone was able to collect.  Brooke Haynes enjoyed seeing the farm animals particularly “Patricia the pig who was pregnant with 18 piglets” and she agreed it was a “fantastic few days”.  Kaitlin Jarvis loved the old school and the opportunity to “dress up in old clothing and draw with a quill and ink”. Sara Seabourne summed up most comments by saying the camp was “fantastic fun” saying it was sad to leave.  It is wonderful to see that all students had a memorable time learning while enjoying the activities on offer.

A visit to the old school was a highlight for some of the Gagebrook Primary students.
