“Max thought the afternoon tea was to catch up as he has been unable to be active in the community over the past 18 months due to ill health,” Mr Dean said.

“He was quite surprised and very appreciative of his acknowledgement by the club.

“At the Bridgewater PCYC we rely on volunteers to assist with maintenance or any other job that may arise.

“Max has always been a big supporter of the PCYC. He certainly deserves the recognition for all his years of generous volunteer work.”
