Teacher nominated for prestigious  award

JORDAN River Learning Federation Senior School is proud one of its staff has been nominated for Tasmanian Young Achiever Awards.

The awards aim to acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of all young people up to and including 29 years of age as of December 31 each year.

Dannica has been chosen as one of three finalists in this prestigious educational category.

Dannica has been teaching at Jordan River Learning Federation Senior School (JRLF SS) for over three years.  Her key teaching role is currently working with Years 10, 11 and 12 students.  Dannica also works with students from Grade 7 to 10 as the student representative coordinator.  Dannica uses this platform with the SRC to conduct whole school assemblies and coordinate fundraising and community engagement events.

Dannica has an immense capacity to work with disengaged youth and build up meaningful and highly personalised relationships which often lead to her students obtaining successful outcomes.
