PCYC footy clinic a school holiday hit at Bellerive

DURING the first week of the school holidays, the Bridgewater PCYC along with the Clarence PCYC teamed up with players from the Clarence and Glenorchy Football Clubs as well as a few Tassie Mariners to hold a footy clinic at Bellerive Oval.

It was a fantastic day where more than 150 kids attended and learned some important skills and knowledge of the game by some up coming talent the state has to offer. The Bridgewater PCYC took two buses of local kids to attend the clinic.

Throughout the day the children moved around different skill cones as well as played on the Bridgewater PCYC’s Jumping Castle, which was a real hit. The children had the opportunity to visit the cricket museum at the oval and watch an exclusive AFL pre-season video while enjoying a sausage and drink that was kindly provided by local businesses.

The day was aimed at providing a professional clinic for local kids as well as be affordable for parents. PCYC thanks all those people who were involved especially Steve Fry from the Clarence PCYC and Sean Tisdale and Aaron Tuxworth from the Clarence Football Club.
