OLD Beach Cricket Club is looking forward to a successful 2018-19 season. This year’s committee is headed by chairman, Ross Wooldridge, assisted by treasurer Wendy Little, secretary Phil Owen and a committee of six.
Teams have been entered in grades 1, 3 and 7 in the SCA competition.If you are looking to join a great club that caters for the competitive or social side of cricket, Old Beach might be your answer. Yes, the club is interested in hearing from boys, girls, men and women wishing to play cricket.
Head coach Mark Little is up and about on our chances this year and pre-season training dates have been advertised.
Training dates are -Sundays starting at 10.30am Cloak Oval Old Beach
August 26, September 2, September 9, September 16 and September 23.
Saturday, September 29 will be a practice match between Huonville this year and the club will be travelling down on the bus. Following that training will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings before the T20s kick off on October 13.
The club is looking for sponsors and there are multiple opportunities to be involved with the club in this way.
