The club held a major fundraising event at the end of play with more than $3000 raised on the night.

The result was very pleasing and a just reward for the hardworking players and volunteers who gave freely of their time  and made the day such a huge success .

Cricket club president Ross Wooldridge said: ” Many players and members of the committee have been touched by the effects of breast cancer on family and friends , and the cub was pleased to be able to strongly support such a worthwhile cause .

“Several of our members will also be supporting the upcoming Relay for Life activities throughout the State, which is further evidence that our club is very community and family focused and willing to assist wherever possible.”

Based on current ladder positions, it is highly likely that all four sides will be playing in their respective grade finals coming weeks . Anyone wanting to provide support on game days would be most welcome.
