THE Brighton District Cricket Club’s 2018-19 season finally kicks off with our Southern Cricket Association, men’s senior side, Cricket Tasmania’s Premier League (CTPL) 3rd grade side, and our CTPL Boys under-17s commencing preseason training August 1, 8-9:30am at the TCA Indoor nets. Our under-15 CTPL Boys start September 5, at the time and place. The Cricket Tasmania Premier League under-17 girls begin on September 12 also at the TCA nets 8-9:30am. All of the above will train at the TCA nets until early October. All Hobart Junior League sides will be notified regarding pre-season training requirements asap.The club continues to expand its female participation programs, and invites any girls aged 11-17, and women over 18 for our senior women’s side to participate in the southern Cricket Association T20 social roster which is scheduled for Saturday nights in the 5pm time slot. All girls and women, regardless of their abilities, are welcome to participate.
