THE Brighton Football Club  has had a fantastic year, in many ways which is all looking great for the future.   We were extremely  proud of our reserves who made it to the  preliminary  final, finishing second and the senior side who were unfortunately knocked out in the second semi final having finished in sixth position this year.We are pleased to have had Ben Atkin  as senior coach,   Nathan Senior, reserves coach  and Shane Cranfield,  coach of the  Colts.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank all committee members, and volunteers who have helped out at our club this year, there is a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes and all has run fairly smoothly.

We would also like to thank our major sponsors for 2011 and look forward to their continued support next year – Schweppes, Smiths  Snack Food Company,  4one4 Real Estate, Brighton Council, Home Loan Options,  Midland Truck & Bus, IGA – Everyday, Stramit Building Supplies, Supagas, Paul & Elizabeth Geard,  Roberts Real Estate- Brighton,  Brighton Quality Meats, Advanced Contracting, Brighton Pizza Plus,  Solartint, MS Automotive,  Iris Computing, Typeface, GSS Investigation Services, Westfarmers Insurance, Willows Tavern & Tempory Fence Hire (TFN) and 9/11 Bottleshops.  We also had wonderful support for our players with many players sponsors coming on board,  a huge thanks to all of them for their support.

We would like to congratulate some players on their individual achievements with their commitment to the Brighton Football Club: Grant Wakefield 200 Senior games, Brad Boucher and Brock Steele, 150 senior club games and Dale Blackwell, Gareth Delaney and Darren Boucher, 100 senior club games.  Huge congratulations to Adam McCarthy who earned life membership of the BFC having played 175 senior club games.
